Worker Killed during a Logging Accident
Logging is a difficult job that sometimes takes the life of a worker. One such workplace accident happened last week in Warrensburg which took the life of a 66-year-old man. According to the police report, the victim, M.D., was working with a crew out in the woods when a single log fell off the pile. It rolled down on top of him, pinning him underneath. This was no ordinary log as it was measured at over 2 feet wide.
None of his coworkers actually saw the accident happen. The police believe that M.D. may have laid there for at least one hour before someone discovered him. By that time, he had already passed away.
